LIBRARY

CIS Libraries

At CIS, our three library spaces are vibrant learning hubs designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading. The Elementary Library (KG–Grade 6) and Secondary Library (Grades 7–12) have been purposefully designed to enhance student functionality, comfort, and enjoyment. A third space — our KG HUB Library — extends early literacy engagement through an audiobook listening station, puppet theatre and felt wall storytelling areas, and a book-making table that invites our youngest learners to explore and create.

Our two main libraries feature genre-based shelves that help students discover books of personal interest, along with a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles and a strong collection of Arabic language books. The Elementary Library offers many cozy reading spots where students can relax and immerse themselves in stories, while both the Elementary and Secondary Libraries provide flexible areas for teachers and students to read, collaborate, and learn together.

Our new Accessit Library System extends the CIS Library beyond our school walls, allowing students and families to browse our collection online anytime, from anywhere — no login required. Students in Grades 4–12 can log in with their CIS Microsoft accounts to access additional features such as creating reading lists and tracking their own borrowing.
